On close inspection of Colin Davidson's work!
Colin Davidson is a fantastic portrait artist and from Northern Ireland. He has painted the "great and the good" but also the "man in the street" and, in my opinion, his large-scale head paintings are unparalleled today. The image at the back of my homage is taken from one of his works - of the poet Michael Longley.
